Amy Chow (周婉儀; pinyin: ZhÅ?u WÇŽnyí; born May 15, 1978 in San Jose, California) is an American gymnast. She was coached by Mark Young. Chow began gymnastics training in 1981, & has been competing around national and international competitions since 1990. Within 1996, she won a silver medal on the uneven bars and a team gold by owning a U.S. women's gymanstic exercise team at a 1996 Summer Olympics. She too competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics, although the team did non perform swell inside Sydney.

Chow has deuce acrobatic moves known as fallowing her, a "Chow" & a "Chow II", & she has been nicknamed "the Trickster" for her originative dismounts & ability to perform complicated skills by having apparent ease.

Additionally to her athletic career, Chow is too the piano player. Around 1994, she received an advanced level certificate of merit for piano. She was likewise the competitory diver in the period of highschool. When of 2005, she is currently attending school of medicine at Stanford, having earned an undergrad degree around biology from either Stanford within 2002, sustaining the goal of finally becoming a pediatrist. Amy competed as a pole vaulter for Stanford, but she is non on the 2005 track & field roll.
